Availability / Schedule

• Assignment Length: 6 months with potential extension
• Reason for Coverage: Provider resignation
• Schedule: Monday-Friday with weekend rotation
• Shift Options: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Current Shift Lengths: 10- and 12-hour shifts
• Call: Required
• Weekend Coverage: Required

Availability Requirements

• Full-time availability strongly preferred
• Part-time candidates considered with a minimum of 8 shifts per month
• Full-time providers expected to work a minimum of 6 shifts per month, with opportunity for additional shifts
• Site preference is for consistent week-over-week coverage

• Operating Rooms: 12
• Average Monthly Case Volume: 850-950
• EMR: Medaxion
• Care Team Model: Utilized throughout the program
• Orientation: Provided prior to first shift

Cardiac Cases Include

• CABG
• Valve procedures
• TAVR
• MitraClip
• Left atrial appendage ligation
• Electrophysiology procedures

Additional Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• OB/GYN
• Urology
• GI
• Cath Lab
• Endoscopy
• ENT
• Spine

Notable Practice Details

• Very limited aortic surgery
• No cardiac transplant cases
• Minimal thoracic surgery volume

Case Distribution

• Majority of cases are Orthopedic, General Surgery, and OB/GYN
• Cardiac anesthesia coverage required as part of the practice
• Approximately 275 OB deliveries per month

• 60-70% personally performed cases
• 30-40% supervision/medical direction responsibilities

• Cardiac Anesthesiologist comfortable with CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, MitraClip, LAA ligation, and EP cases
• Interested in a long-term assignment with the potential for extension
• Able to participate in call and weekend rotations
• Available for consistent recurring coverage, with full-time candidates preferred for consideration
