Locums - Longview, Washington GI Hospitalist Job

Clinical RoleJoin an established Gastroenterology hospitalist team providing inpatient and ACU-based GI coverage in a 136-bed hospital setting. This role includes both scheduled daytime coverage and intermittent 24-hour call responsibilities in a collaborative, multi-provider environment.

Schedule & CoverageACU Coverage: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-hour shifts)

Call Coverage (as scheduled):

• 24-hour call: 8:00 AM - 8:00 AM
• Weekday night call
• Weekend 24-hour call
• Call includes consults, rounding, ACU procedures, and add-on cases

Schedule is variable and built around internal coverage gaps and PTO needs

Clinical Details & ResponsibilitiesFacility: 136-bed hospitalPatient Population: AdultsAverage Census: 12-14 patients per day

Responsibilities include:

• Inpatient GI consultations
• Daily rounding and admissions
• Standard endoscopy procedures (no ERCP required)
• ACU coverage and consult management
• Participation in call coverage when scheduled
• Coordination with hospitalists and APPs

RequirementsBoard Certified Gastroenterology - RequiredActive Washington State license - Required (No IMLC accepted)BLS and ACLS - Required (AHA or Red Cross)Comfortable with inpatient GI consults and endoscopy procedures
