Availability / Schedule

Day Shift Coverage

• Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Two providers assigned to late room coverage (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM)

Call Coverage

• Monday-Friday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Saturday-Sunday: 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Rotation Schedule

• 4 weeks on / 1 week off

Call Response Time

• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes

Setting

• EMR: Medaxion
• Daytime Coverage Team: 5 anesthesia providers

Clinical Responsibilities

• Anesthesia coverage across multiple service lines
• Approximately 70% medically directed/supervised care model
• Collaboration with anesthesia team and surgical staff

Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Endoscopy
• OB/GYN
• Pediatrics
• Urology
• ENT
• Ophthalmology
• Plastic Surgery
• Orthopedics

Required Skills & Procedures

• Spinal anesthesia
• Regional nerve blocks
• Epidurals

Case Logs Required

• Documentation/proof of competency in:
  • Epidurals
  • Spinals
  • Regional blocks

Requirements

• Must be proficient in spinals, blocks, and epidurals
• Case logs required for credentialing
• Comfortable practicing within a medically directed anesthesia model
• Ability to meet 30-minute call response requirement

Coverage Overview

• Consistent full-time schedule with established 4-week-on/1-week-off rotation
• Broad case mix with OB, pediatric, orthopedic, and general surgery exposure
• Ongoing anesthesia team support with multiple providers on-site daily
