Schedule Details:Monday-Friday

7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

One-hour lunch included

Amount of Coverage Needed:Weeks listed above

Practice Setting:Hospital and In-Office Clinic

Patient Population:Adults

Patient Volume:Clinic: 20-22 patients per day

Facility Details:268-bed hospital

Department Description:Cath Lab coverage with hospital consults and electrophysiology procedures.

Expected workload includes:

  • 3-4 hospital consults per day
  • 4-6 EP cases per day depending on complexity and case length

Procedures and Skills Required:

  • Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Heart rhythm disturbance management
  • Ablations
  • Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Moderate sedation

Candidates must:

  • Be comfortable performing moderate sedation independently
  • Be proficient with the Abbott EnSite-X Mapping System
  • Demonstrate at least 100 EP cases within the past 2 years through case logs, with emphasis on ablation procedures

Support Staff:Information to be provided

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology - Required
  • Active Arizona License - Required - IMLC Accepted
  • Facility willing to license qualified candidates
  • Arizona DEA Registration - Required
  • ACLS - Required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience - Required
  • Ablation experience - Required
  • Must provide case logs showing 100 EP cases within the last 2 years
