Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday 11am-7:30pm with overtime

Job Summary:

We are hiring an Order Puller / Forklift Driver to join our lumber yard team. This role is responsible for pulling and staging lumber orders and operating large propane or diesel forklifts in an outdoor yard environment. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in all weather conditions year-round.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage lumber orders for delivery using a forklift
• Safely operate propane and diesel forklifts
• Load, unload, and move lumber and building materials throughout the yard
• Verify orders for accuracy before staging and shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and yard guidelines
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, rain, snow, cold)
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational needs

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak and read English
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors year-round
• Team player with good communication skills
• Ability to safely handle heavy materials and equipment

Experience

• Prior forklift experience (required)
• Experience operating large propane or diesel forklifts (preferred)
• Experience in a lumber yard, warehouse, or similar environment (preferred)
