This 340-bed facility in southwestern Illinois, close to the Missouri border, is seeking Hospitalist coverage. They are offering days or nights 7 am - 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am shifts. The locum tenens Hospitalist should expect to have 16-18 patient encounters and the evening admissions are currently averaging at 7 per shift. You will also be expected to run codes and round the ICU as needed. The hospital prefers someone who can manage vents however they have Intensivists on site who can assist with all other procedures.
