Full or Part Time/Hybrid position for Civil Litigation Defense Attorney.
We are a boutique law firm seeking an attorney to join our growing legal team. The role is a hybrid work environment based in Westlake Village, CA. The attorney will manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, including case assessment, strategy development, and regular communication with clients, claim professionals and co-counsel. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings, discovery and motions, taking and defending depositions. The attorney will analyze evidence, evaluate liability and damages, prepare witnesses, and participate in settlement negotiations and mediations. The role also involves maintaining organized case files, and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
