- Perform vascular and ultrasound examinations according to protocol
- Select appropriate equipment and adjust controls for optimal imaging
- Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Assess for patient pain or discomfort during procedures and intervene as needed
- Document findings accurately in the EMR (HMS Medhost)
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment
- Follow established standards and protocols for quality imaging
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for comprehensive patient care
- Valid ultrasound or vascular technologist license and relevant certifications
- Proven experience in vascular ultrasound procedures
- Strong understanding of ultrasound equipment operation
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently and adhere to safety standards
