Coverage Needed

• Schedule: 7a-7a, 24-hour shifts
• On Call: 24/7 (in-house call, call rooms available)
• Maximum of two consecutive 24-hour shifts
• Open Dates:
  • July 2, 6, 8, 10-11, 22-23, 25-26
  • August 1, 4-7, 9-10
  • September 2-3, 8, 20, 23, 25, 27-30
  • October 1, 7-8, 26, 29-30
  • November 2, 18, 20, 23, 25-30
  • December 2, 8, 10, 21, 24-25, 27-28, 30-31

Clinical Details

• Inpatient
• Number of exam rooms per provider: 8-bed OBED
• Medical Imaging, Lab & Pharmacy
• Clinic provider daily volume: 1389 visits to OBED per year, approximately 463 result in deliveries
• MFM on call; residents present but not under OB Hospitalist's charge
• No GYN responsibilities
• EMR: Epic
• Responsibilities: OBED patients, emergent patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections), patients without primary OBGYN

Requirements

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (can accept truly board eligible candidates)
• Active IA License, Active IMLC LOQ in hand , or "a new conditional IA license"
• Clean Malpractice/Background
  • Candidate can be considered as long as they do not have 2 or more claims filed within the past five (5) years OR one adverse settlement/judgement in a professional liability action in excess of $250,000 within the past five (5) years
• Self-Query NPDB (pulled within the month)
• Provider cannot be local
