Urgent Care Physician Locums Job in Missouri Scheduled Clinical Hours Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Begin as soon as credentialed
Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 120 days
Must be willing to work across multiple urgent care centers

Shift Description
Centers typically open 8 AM - 8 PM Monday - Friday and 9 AM - 5 PM Saturday - Sunday
Moving to 12-hour shifts on weekends (required)
Preference for providers able to work blocks of shifts, including weekdays and weekends

Requirements
Residency trained and board certified or board eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds (ABMS or AOB only)
Licensed in Missouri or eligible via IMLC
Must be trained and comfortable seeing both adult and pediatric patients
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Epic experience - highly preferred
Local providers - highly preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
Suturing and wound care, including incision and drainage
Splinting and casting
Reading EKGs and X-rays
Drawing blood
Pediatric care experience (minimum 6+ months)
Must be trained to see both adults and pediatrics

Assignment Details
Average patient volume: 36-48 patients per shift
Practice setting: Outpatient urgent care
Support staff: 1 medical assistant and 1 office staff member; no RN/LPN support
Onsite X-ray and EKG available; training provided after credentialing and onboarding
EMR: Epic
