Neurology Opportunity in Southwest Georgia

Join an established outpatient neurology practice serving a large regional population with strong referral support and a broad range of neurologic pathology. This opportunity offers the ability to build a general neurology practice while pursuing subspecialty interests in a setting designed to support physician autonomy and work-life balance. You'll practice within a respected regional healthcare organization that has made a significant investment in neurosciences and stroke care.


Practice Overview

  • You'll join an established outpatient neurology group with 4 neurologists and 2 advanced practice providers
  • Traditional outpatient neurology with opportunities to incorporate Botox, EMG studies, and optional EEG
  • Large regional referral base creates consistent volume and exposure to a broad spectrum of neurologic conditions
  • Dedicated Neuro-Hospitalist team manages inpatient services, minimizing outpatient physician call responsibilities - SUPER LIGHT Call

Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM-12:30 PM
  • Average of approximately 16 patients seen daily
  • Call is only 1 week every 3 months with substantial hospitalist support
    • Call will be removed once we hire 1 more Neuro-Hospitalist!
  • Rare overnight call-back requirements, with TeleStroke coverage providing additional after-hours support


Compensation & Benefits

  • $475,000 guaranteed base salary
  • Productivity incentive plan with RVU bonuses = High Income Position!
  • $75,000 sign-on bonus and up to $15,000 relocation assistance
  • 20 days PTO, 7 paid holidays, $7,000 CME allowance, 401(k), malpractice with tail coverage, and comprehensive health benefits


Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Interest in building an outpatient-focused neurology practice
  • Comfort managing general neurology patients in a high-demand referral environment
  • Experience with Botox injections, EMG studies, or EEG interpretation is welcomed but not required for all procedures
  • J1 or H1B Candidates welcome to apply
