Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a BoardCertified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiology Physician for a locum tenensopportunity in Alpena, Michigan. This role offers a mix of clinic, hospitalrounding, procedures, and call coverage in a supportive, team-basedenvironment.

Compensation: $2800 Per Day

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, plus call
• Call Schedule: 1:2 call expectation
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
• Duties:
• New and established patient visits
• Inpatient rounding
• Imaging and testing interpretation
• Procedures based on experience, including:
• Diagnostic caths (optional, not required)
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Cardioversions
• Loop implant/explant
• EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation
• Daily Workflow: Balanced mix of clinic, rounding, and procedural time

Requirements:

• Active Michigan medical license
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Diagnostic catheter skills preferred but not required
