Why Tucson
Tucson punches well above its weight a UNESCO-designated City of Gastronomy with a culinary and arts scene that surprises first-time visitors, all set against one of the most dramatic desert landscapes in the country. With 350-plus days of sunshine, you're never far from world-class hiking, cycling, and golf, while the University of Arizona anchors a culture of research, education, and spirited college-town energy. Housing costs remain well below most major metros, and the city's family-friendly neighborhoods consistently draw physicians looking for quality of life without compromise. Tucson International Airport keeps you connected but most who land here find fewer reasons to leave.
