Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Details:

  • 8-hour shifts on a 6-month locum-to-perm contract

  • Documentation system/EMR: Meditech Expanse

  • CRNA will work in a supervised setting

  • Average number of surgical cases per day: 3-5 in Main OR and 12-15 in Endoscopy

  • Trauma Level 3 designation

  • OR staff described as collaborative

  • 9 operating rooms in Main OR and 5 in Endoscopy

  • Practice settings include Main OR and Endoscopy

  • Required procedures include: General Surgical Cases (Adult and Pediatric), IV Regional Anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Epidural Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Obstetrical Cases, and Neurosurgical Cases

  • Weekend availability possible

  • Board Certification (AANA) required

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Active Massachusetts state license or willingness to obtain required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience highly preferred; new graduates also considered

    This is a regional medical center serving as a Level 3 Trauma Center, providing a comprehensive range of surgical and anesthesia services including a Main OR and Endoscopy suite. The facility features a collaborative OR staff environment and supports a variety of complex surgical procedures across adult and pediatric populations. With 9 main operating rooms and 5 endoscopy suites, the facility is well-equipped to handle a high volume of diverse surgical cases.
