Locum PA or RNFA GYN Surgery First Assist
Atlantic City & Pomona, NJ 2-Site Assignment

CareTeam Solutions is actively recruiting a skilled Physician Assistant or RN First Assistant (RNFA) for a 6-month locum assignment supporting robotic gynecological surgery at a well-established, high-volume health system in southern New Jersey.

Position Overview
This is an exciting inpatient OR opportunity spanning two hospital campuses. You'll be working alongside experienced GYN surgeons performing 2 6 robotic surgeries per day, providing first assist support in a structured, well-staffed surgical environment. No call. No weekends. Just focused, high-quality OR time.

Assignment Details

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 6 Months
• Schedule: Monday Friday Day Shifts
• Setting: Inpatient Operating Room 2 Facilities
• Call: None
• Supervision: Surgeon present for all cases you will not be working autonomously

Clinical Scope

• Robotic GYN surgery first assist (Da Vinci or equivalent)
• 2 6 surgical cases per day
• Adult patient population
• EMR: Cerner/Oracle

Requirements

• Active NJ State License in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Board Certified PA (NCCPA) or RNFA credential Required
• First Assist Certification with Robotic Surgery Required
• BLS, ACLS & ATLS or ATCN (AHA) Required
• Minimum experience required no new grads
• NPDB Self-Query pulled within last 30 days Required at time of presentation
• Cerner EMR experience Preferred

Compensation & Travel

• Competitive daily rate!
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• Credentialing timeline: approximately 2 3 months
