Cardiology Physician Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $10,500-$11,250
• Location: On-site in Williamsport, PA 17701
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (8 Hour Days)
• Coverage Need: 1-2 weeks per month
• Cardiology Practice Setting: Outpatient cardiology clinic, inpatient rounding, consults, and cardiac image interpretation
• Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Call Schedule: Weeknight call from 5:00 PM-8:00 AM plus Saturday-Sunday 24-hour weekend call

Cardiology Physician Requirements

• MD or DO with an active Pennsylvania medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in hand
• At least 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Experience with outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, consults, and cardiac image interpretation
• TEE (transesophageal echocardiogram) and cardioversion experience required
• Ability to cover clinic/reads, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call blocks

Locum Tenens Cardiology Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology clinic coverage and review cardiac studies
• Perform inpatient rounding and cardiology consults
• Cover weeknight and weekend call as scheduled
• Perform TEEs and cardioversion procedures as needed
• Assist with occasional stress test proctoring
• Collaborate with the advanced practice provider and care team to deliver efficient, patient-centered cardiology care
