This 13-week Physical Therapist opportunity is based in Abbeville, South Carolina, a picturesque small town known for its historic charm, tree-lined streets, and welcoming community atmosphere. You will work with a mix of diagnoses that may include post-operative rehabilitation, musculoskeletal conditions, neurologic disorders, balance and gait impairments, and general deconditioning. Patient populations are primarily adult and geriatric, although specific caseload mix may vary based on facility needs. The patient load is managed to support safe, high-quality care and thorough documentation.You will be responsible for comprehensive assessments, goal setting, and progression of treatment plans, as well as accurate and timely documentation in the facilitys EMR system. Collaboration with physicians, nursing, and other allied health professionals is a key part of the role, ensuring that each patients care plan is coordinated and consistent. Education of patients and their families about home exercises, functional adaptations, and strategies for maintaining progress at home is an important element of daily practice.The environment is well-suited for Physical Therapists who value hands-on, community-based care and the opportunity to make a visible difference in patients daily lives.
