What You ll Do

• Provide pediatric hospitalist coverage during scheduled weekends and up to 15 days monthly
• Manage inpatient pediatric care coverage including admissions, rounds, and discharges
• Collaborate with hospital staff on patient care plans and updates
• Ensure compliance with hospital and state protocols for pediatric care
• Document patient encounters accurately in the medical record
• Handle call responsibilities during assigned shifts, providing consultations as needed

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Texas or eligibility to apply
• Pediatric certification (preferred but not mandatory)
• Prior hospitalist experience in pediatric inpatient settings (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle inpatient pediatric caseload effectively
