Family Practice - Without OB Physician

Facility in New Haven, CT seeking Primary Care locums coverage Rates: $170/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: July 1, 2026.
• Duration: Through December 31, 2026.
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.
• Flexibility: Potential for a 4-day work week.
• Work-Life Balance: No call required.
• Support Staff: Each provider is paired with a dedicated Medical Assistant (MA), with additional support from an RN and front desk staff.
• Setting: Outpatient Primary Care (Physician only; no APPs at this time).

Clinical Scope & Volume The physician will manage a standard primary care panel, focusing on adult health maintenance and acute episodic care.

• Patient Volume: patients per day.
• Patient Demographic: Adults (18+ only).
• Care Focus: Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension), preventative screenings, and acute illness.
• Telehealth: Not required.

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Licensure: Active Connecticut (CT) Medical License in hand (Required).
• Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient setting preferred.

• Technical Skills: Comfortable with standard EMR documentation; must be able to maintain efficiency without Telehealth integration .
