Anesthesiology - Cardiac Physician

  • Coverage Needed:
    • As soon as Credentialed- ongoing
    • Weekdays: 10-12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday
    • Will need to take call, and may need to work weekends
  • Clinical Information:
    • Average Number of CV cases per day: 10-15 total, not per person
    • Support staff: 1 MD:3 CRNA or 1 MD:4 CRNA
    • Care Team Model: Yes, mainly supervisory but MDs can work their own cases if needed
    • Practice EMR: Cerner, AIMS
    • Case Mix: cardiac, thoracic and vascular surgery, TAVR, CABG, MitraClip
  • Required:
    • Must be TEE certified
    • Active NC License
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
