The Box Truck Driver with CDL and HAZMAT EndorseMENT is responsible for safely transporting hazardous materials and general freight through mixed urban and rural environments. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance while ensuring timely deliveries. The driver operates independently and supports warehouse staff, with occasional overnight trips of 2-4 nights per month, expenses covered. This hourly position offers a very flexible schedule and involves using paper logbooks for route planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate box truck safely in urban and rural settings
• Load and unload hazardous materials and general freight
• Plan routes to optimize delivery efficiency and safety
• Ensure compliance with safety and HAZMAT regulations
• Maintain accurate paper logbooks and regulatory reports
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Handle hazardous materials according to guidelines
• Maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries
• Perform routine equipment maintenance checks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years commercial driving experience
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• HAZMAT endorsement
