• Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am 4:30 pm; 24-hour weekend call (no weekday night call)
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens
• License/Certifications: Michigan State Medical License, Board Certification in Gastroenterology, ERCP certification required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Gastroenterology, prior ERCP experience required

• Pay Package: Competitive hourly rate (to be discussed upon application)

What You ll Do

• Provide outpatient and inpatient gastrointestinal care in a hospital setting
• Perform endoscopies, including ERCP procedures
• Manage patient consults and coordinate with onsite providers
• Support a team of physicians and APPs within a hospital environment
• Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR system
• Support hospital in maintaining high standards of care during scheduled shifts and on-call hours

What You Need
Required:

• Michigan medical license and board certification in Gastroenterology
• ERCP certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures and consult management
• Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Preferred:

• Prior experience in hospital-based practice
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision
