Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Start Date: Start date is typically within approximately 2 weeks after offer acceptance and completion of onboarding/credentialing requirements.
- Day shift schedule Monday through Friday
- On-call requirement:
- 1 night per week
- Every 4th weekend
- Must be able to respond and begin a case within 30 minutes while on call
- Travelers start on Wednesdays
- During orientation week, 48-hour contracts are guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
- Minimum 2 years of recent perioperative/Operating Room RN experience required
- Experience in circulating, scrub, and PACU roles preferred
- Critical access hospital experience preferred
- Active Vermont RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- Meditech
Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel contract in a critical access hospital setting in Vermont. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative care across all phases of the surgical process, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care, and post-anesthesia recovery.
This role requires flexibility to function as a circulator, scrub nurse, and PACU RN while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care throughout all surgical phases
- Function in circulator, scrub, and PACU RN roles
- Maintain patient safety standards and accurate documentation
- Participate in surgical safety processes and time-outs
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams
- Support efficient surgical workflow and patient outcomes
