Insurance Sales Agent

AAA - The Auto Club Group Full time W 2 Base Pay + Incentives + Full Benefits

$5,000 Ramp-up Compensation Support

To qualify applicants must be new to ACG. There is a 1-year payback clause if your employment is terminated prior to completing 12 months of employment. Additional details can be provided by our Recruiting Team at the time of application

This is a relationship driven sales role with long-term income potential through base and commissions.

• Base pay plus performance based incentives, allowing high performers to significantly increase overall earnings.
• Average annual earnings range: $57,000-$87,000+, based on performance and sales results.
• Supplemental ramp up pay, paid monthly, to support productivity during the first six months:
  • Additional $200 per week during months 0-2
  • Additional $150 per week during months 3-4
  • Additional $100 per week during months 5-6

• Elevated incentive payout structure during the first 15 months to accelerate early earnings.
• New Hire On Pace Bonus tied to performance milestones.
• Non exempt position with eligibility for overtime pay.

• Own the sale and ongoing service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within a high traffic ACG branch.
• Leverage proven sales methodologies and insurance expertise to uncover customer needs, generate new business, retain existing clients, and grow ACG's insurance portfolio.
• Consistently overcome objections, negotiate effectively, and close sales while maintaining long term client relationships.
• Drive performance by meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and incentive plan expectations aligned with branch and company goals.
• Conduct comprehensive insurance reviews to assess risk, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions; quote, bind, and issue policies in accordance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Actively engage in local branch and community events to prospect, expand referral networks, and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong rapport with members and clients to ensure high customer satisfaction, loyalty, and trust in the AAA brand.
• Respond to customer inquiries with a high level of professionalism and urgency across insurance, membership, and financial products.
• Identify and execute cross sell and referral opportunities into Travel and Financial Services lines of business to maximize overall member value.

• Active State Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license

• Active State Life and Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.

• Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit.

• High School diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment (i.e., financial/banking)
  • Insurance experience is helpful-but not required.
    • We provide training to help you get licensed and confident in the role

• Demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and close sales opportunities, including disciplined lead tracking, follow up, and pipeline management.
• Apply consultative selling techniques supported by deep product knowledge to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer value.
• Proven prospecting and business development skills, including generating new opportunities through referrals, outbound activity, and networking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer first mindset and confidence in guiding sales conversations.
• Results driven with clear ambition, motivation, and accountability for achieving and exceeding performance goals.
• Proficient in leveraging technology to support sales execution, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong listening and discovery skills with the ability to quickly assess customer needs, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate solutions.

• Work in a temperature controlled AAA branch location
• Ability to work varied hours, including possible weekends
• Occasional travel to branch or community events
