Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician to provide locum coverage for an established 1:2 practice following a physician resignation. This full-scope assignment includes clinic responsibilities, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, after-hours call, and Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) backup coverage across both clinic and hospital settings.

Dates & Schedule

Coverage Dates:

• November 20 November 29 (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)
• December 18 December 27 (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)

Schedule Details:

• 24-hour call coverage during assignment periods
• Combination of clinic, labor & delivery, surgery, and call responsibilities
• Average callback hours:
  • Weekdays: 8.2 hours
  • Weekends: 3.9 hours

Required Procedures:

• Full range of standard gynecologic procedures performed in both clinic and hospital settings

Support Staff:

• Front desk staff
• Clinical support staff
• On-site ultrasound services

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Completion of OB/GYN residency
• BLS certification
• DEA registration
• NRP certification
• Availability for the requested dates at the time of name clear
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation

Highly Preferred:

• Active Nebraska medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Clean malpractice history
