Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Onvida Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiac surgery program in Yuma, Arizona.

This full-time opportunity offers a unique 10 days on / 20 days off schedule with 24-hour pre/post call coverage . The role includes clinic support, generally at least once per week, along with operative and post-operative responsibilities.

Our cardiovascular surgery program with a case mix that includes CABG, valve repair/replacement, arrhythmia and/or aortic procedures, and other thoracic cases.

The PA will support CABG and vein graft harvesting as well as valve replacement/repair, thoracic aneurysm or dissection repair, other thoracic cases as needed, and rounding/post-operative care.

Additional program highlights include 10 cardiac ICU beds , 4 cath lab suites , 2 EP suites , a Structural Heart Program that includes and a supportive cardiovascular team environment.

Robotic experience is preferred, but training may be available.
