Shift Description
Beeper call only coverage, 8AM - 8PM
3-5 days per month on weekday and weekends, no clinical coverage

Call Details
Call response time: 20 minutes
Call ratio: 1:3
Average 8 phone consults per 24 hours
Average 3 patients per shift
Admissions average: varies 1-2

Requirements
Board Certified in Neurosurgery
Fellowship
Active North Carolina license ONLY
ACLS
ATLS
BLS
ABLS

Cerebrovascular: Open, Endovascular
Carotid or Vertebral artery surgery
Aneurysm clipping
Tumors
Neuroendocrine surgery

Spinal surgery with instrumentation
