Advanced Heart Failure Locums Job in Florida Weekend Schedule Beginning August 5 - Ongoing Assignment

Coverage Details
Weekends are Friday 5 PM - Monday 8 AM
Rounding included for Saturdays and Sundays plus overnight call
Rounding is typically 8 hours onsite, with time beyond considered call

Requirements
BC/BE by the ABIM in Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant
Completion of an ACGME accredited heart failure fellowship
Telehealth experience required
Clean Malpractice/Background
More than 5 years of post-fellowship experience - preferred

Required Procedures / Skills
Proficient in managing short-term mechanical circulatory support devices, including Impella and ECMO (percutaneous and surgical implantable devices)
Advanced Heart Failure
Mechanical Circulatory Support

Assignment Details
Patients include advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and heart failure cases
Integrated advanced heart failure cardiology and surgical program providing comprehensive care
No implant LVAD
In clinic setting, physician sees patients independently
In hospital setting, an APP typically rounds with physician, with occasional days without APP support
Practice collaborates with four regional heart transplant referral centers
Advanced surgical treatment options include implantable heart devices, including percutaneous and surgical Impella and ECMO
Strong multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive patient care with excellent outcomes
