We're looking for a Physical Therapist to take on a full-time role with an outpatient orthopedics clinic in Frederick, MD. You will help patients move better, feel better, and stay active-whether they are recovering from an injury or managing long-term conditions. Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctoral, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics or demonstrated interest in musculoskeletal care preferred.
  • Ability to provide 30-40 minute treatment sessions with no double booking.
  • Willingness to work two evening shifts per week to cover clinic hours.
  • Comfort treating patients ages 10 through geriatric. Experience treating vestibular, TMJ, or neuro is optional and accepted if preferred by candidate.
  • Dry needling experience or willingness to provide cash-based dry needling services is a plus.
  • New graduates and therapists with all experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Benefits:

  • Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 (paid half at 90 days and half at 6 months).

Role & Caseload:

  • Outpatient orthopedics only. Majority of patients are physician referrals within the practice.
  • Treat general ortho population ages 10 and up; limited or no neuro, TMJ, or vestibular unless clinician prefers to treat these areas.
  • Typical treatment sessions are 30-40 minutes. Evaluations range 30-60 minutes depending on case complexity.
  • Clinic provides specialty services and dry needling as cash-based options.
  • Therapists will collaborate with PTAs and front office staff. Strong communication is expected.


Clinic Location & Schedule:

  • Frederick main clinic: 161 Thomas Johnson Drive, Frederick, MD 21702. 12,000 sq. ft. facility.
  • 6 physical therapist openings at the Frederick 161 location.
  • Clinic hours 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (last patient). Two evening shifts per week required; evenings may be covered by longer days or half days. Weekends not required. Optional Saturdays available for additional pay.
  • Interview process: single interview; in-person preferred, virtual option available. Clinic observation may be arranged post-interview.


Compensation Overview:

  • New graduates: salary range indicated for hiring benchmarks. Mid-level and senior ranges provided for experienced hires.
  • Productivity and retention incentives available. Exact compensation will be discussed during the hiring process.

  • Unstructured new grad mentorship tailored to clinician needs.
  • Monthly staff meetings with clinical spotlights and volunteer-led education.
  • Two CEU courses hosted annually in Frederick.
  • Collaborative environment with long-term staff retention and clinical support.
