This per diem OB Hospitalist opportunity in Palm Springs, California, is ideal for a board-certified OB/GYN seeking flexible hospital-based coverage in a collaborative environment. The position involves providing comprehensive obstetric care, including delivery attendance, triage, patient management, and emergency coverage, with support from maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology specialists. The facility features a 30-bed Level III NICU and manages approximately 30 deliveries per month.
Dates / Schedule- Per diem coverage
- 24-hour in-house shifts
- Provide OB Hospitalist coverage
- Attend deliveries and provide newborn delivery support
- Manage OB triage patients
- Perform patient evaluations and ongoing management
- Assist with obstetric surgical procedures
- Conduct fetal monitoring and interpretation
- Provide emergency room obstetric coverage
- Collaborate with affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology teams
- Work within a community hospital featuring a Level III NICU
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Required
- Active California medical license Required
- Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience Required
- Completed Prescreen Questionnaire Required
- Current Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days of submission) Required
- Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained Required
