This per diem OB Hospitalist opportunity in Palm Springs, California, is ideal for a board-certified OB/GYN seeking flexible hospital-based coverage in a collaborative environment. The position involves providing comprehensive obstetric care, including delivery attendance, triage, patient management, and emergency coverage, with support from maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology specialists. The facility features a 30-bed Level III NICU and manages approximately 30 deliveries per month.

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Provide OB Hospitalist coverage
• Attend deliveries and provide newborn delivery support
• Manage OB triage patients
• Perform patient evaluations and ongoing management
• Assist with obstetric surgical procedures
• Conduct fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Provide emergency room obstetric coverage
• Collaborate with affiliated maternal-fetal medicine and neonatology teams
• Work within a community hospital featuring a Level III NICU

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Required
• Active California medical license Required
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience Required
• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire Required
• Current Self-Query NPDB report (within 30 days of submission) Required
• Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all employment gaps explained Required
