Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
This position involves providing comprehensive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role includes evaluation and management services, interpretation of EKG, Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Imaging, stress Echocardiography, Holter/event monitor, and more. The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will collaborate with other medical specialties to meet the established standards and practices of care. This position offers a broad scope of treatments for cardiac disease processes, ensuring a dynamic and professionally stimulating work environment.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The clinic operates Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with shared call responsibilities that include reading Echo rotations on weekends. Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (Non-Invasive).
- Fellowship-trained in Cardiology.
- Current or obtainable Oregon license.
- Nuclear and Echo certification is highly preferred.
- Strong ties to Oregon are preferred, such as family in the area or having lived in the state previously.
- Clean malpractice history and recent NPDB self-query report required.
- DEA certification must be obtained prior to the start date.
