Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Title: Locum Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Summary:
Join CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, North Dakota, as we seek a locum Interventional Radiologist (IR) to provide essential coverage. This facility is equipped with advanced medical technology, offering a supportive environment for both patients and staff. The coverage requires a commitment of 8-hour days from 8 AM to 4 PM, with evening call from 4 PM to 8 AM, as well as 24-hour weekend call. Experience with stroke capabilities is preferred, but not mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including but not limited to angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
• Conduct interventional procedures including vascular access device placements, central line insertions, IVC filters, and biopsies.
• Provide pain management procedures and manage various aspiration and drainage procedures.
• Collaborate with peers in the IR team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Epic EMR.
• Participate in evening and weekend on-call duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Radiology - Interventional (required).
• Completion of an IR Residency or Fellowship (required).
• Must have experience with all required procedures listed.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (required).
• North Dakota medical license (highly preferred), or IMLC if ND license is not active.
• Clean malpractice history (highly preferred).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified (required).
• ND License (highly preferred) or IMLC.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required).
