Job Details:
Provide locum anesthesia coverage for employee leaves and vacations in a Level 1 trauma centerWork flexible day shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours with no on-call or weekend requirementsWork under supervision managing adult patients and a limited pediatric populationDeliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MACCollaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia techniciansProvide preoperative assessments and patient educationAdminister anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical proceduresManage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesiaRespond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare teamDocument patient care and anesthesia management accurately in Epic EMRParticipate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiativesMust have current NBCRNA certification and active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificationsMust hold an active Michigan RN License at time of presentationNew graduate candidates will not be consideredFacility:
