A well-established nonprofit community health system in Pittsfield, Massachusetts is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to join its hospital-based urology team. This is a permanent, weekday-only opportunity offering excellent work-life balance with no call and no weekend requirements.

Position Overview
  • Urology Physician (MD/DO)

  • Location: Pittsfield, MA

  • Full-Time Permanent

  • Day Shift: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (variable)

  • No call required

  • No weekends required

  • Competitive compensation (open to discuss; salary expectations may be submitted)

Key Responsibilities

As a Urologist, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive general urology care to adult inpatients

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of urologic conditions

  • Participate in inpatient rounding and collaborative treatment planning

  • Support hospital-based urology procedures and peri-operative care

  • Utilize onsite lab and imaging services for diagnostics

  • Collaborate with a team of 5 experienced urologists and multidisciplinary staff

  • Ensure continuity of care within the hospital-based practice

  • Document all patient encounters using Meditech EMR

  • Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards

Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Urology Required (no exceptions)

  • Relevant inpatient general urology experience Required

  • Active Massachusetts medical license Required

  • Active BLS certification Required

  • Clean malpractice and license history Highly preferred

  • Most recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days) Required at presentation

  • Permanent employment availability required
