Join a 13-week travel Occupational Therapist (OT) assignment in Titusville, FL, with 8-hour day shifts in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). You will evaluate how residents perform tasks such as bathing, dressing, transferring, and managing medications. Additionally, you will assess cognitive functions like memory, attention, and reasoning, and address emotional well-being to identify barriers to participation. You will teach residents new ways to perform daily activities, recommend assistive devices, and suggest environmental modifications for safety. OTs support community re-engagement, educate caregivers and family members on adaptive strategies, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans.
