Assistant Professor-Medicine (Knoxville)

The UTHSC College of Medicine- Knoxville's Department of Family Medicine focuses on improving health through education, patient care, service, and research. Faculty members supervise residents and medical students in ambulatory and hospital settings, with a focus on evidence-based medicine. Our University Family Physicians Family Medicine Center is a certified Patient Center Medical Home, providing care to 24,000 patients annually. We are a 9-9-9 program with fellowships in Sports Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Academic Medicine.

Faculty responsibilities include resident supervision in both the outpatient and hospital settings, providing didactic lectures, resident advising, conducting research, providing direct patient care, and serving on committees within the department, the College of Medicine, and UT Medical.
