Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join a patient-centered outpatient behavioral health team. Clinic Hours:
Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Perform psychiatric evaluations, physical examinations, and age-appropriate assessments
Establish patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Provide counseling, patient education, and medication management
Participate in clinic staff meetings and interdisciplinary care coordination
Assist with clinic-related programs and quality initiatives as approved by the Site Medical Director
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory standards
Requirements
Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Active and unrestricted Indiana state license
Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority (post-hire acceptable)
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (community health center experience preferred but not required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $114,716 - $128,481.92 (based on experience)
$20,000 reward and retention bonus paid in scheduled allotments
Guaranteed minimum 2.5% annual salary increase
$2,500 CME allowance plus 5 CME days
Paid malpractice insurance with 100% tail coverage under FTCA
Eligibility for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) and employer loan repayment programs
Paid license, DEA, and board certification fees
