Schedule: Onsite Monday Thursday 10-hour shifts

Position Overview
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide adult outpatient behavioral health services in a collaborative clinical setting. The provider will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for adult patients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult patients

  • Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions

  • Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Perform follow-up visits and ongoing patient monitoring

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary behavioral health team members

  • Participate in care coordination and treatment planning discussions

  • Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

  • Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications

Qualifications

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license

  • Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred

  • DEA license or eligibility

  • Experience in adult outpatient psychiatry or behavioral health preferred

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of adult psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities

  • Expertise in psychopharmacology and medication management

  • Ability to perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations

  • Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent patient communication and counseling abilities

  • Proficiency with EMR documentation

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills in an outpatient setting
