Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Schedule: Onsite Monday Thursday 10-hour shifts (40 hours per week)
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide child and adolescent outpatient behavioral health services in a collaborative clinical setting. The provider will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for pediatric patients.

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents
Diagnose and treat mental health and behavioral health conditions
Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide follow-up care and ongoing patient monitoring
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary behavioral health team members
Participate in care coordination and treatment planning discussions
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and behavioral health management
Active Nurse Practitioner license
Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) preferred
DEA license or eligibility
Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or behavioral health preferred
Ability to perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Experience working in a collaborative interdisciplinary care environment
Onsite schedule
Monday Thursday
10-hour shifts

Daytime outpatient clinic hours
No overnight shifts
No on-call responsibilities
Strong knowledge of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities
Expertise in psychopharmacology and medication management
Ability to perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills with pediatric patients and families
Ability to develop evidence-based treatment plans
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary behavioral health team
Strong organizational and time management skills in an outpatient setting
