Contract Length: 13 weeks - options to extend.
Shift Details: 4x10/weekly
Schedule: Full-Time; 7a-5:30p (1/2-hour lunch) ; MUST be available 4 weeks/month
Work Details:
Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity) CRNAs are medically directed, typically 2-1, or 3-1. The Attending usually has a Resident in the other room, so their primary focus is on that room, and on teaching. • Amount of coverage needed per month: Full time, 4 x 10/week, 6 months
Patients per day: Depends, 1-9/daily
Patient population/age: All age spans (no Neonatal)
Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
EMR: EPIC preferred
All providers will be required to work NORA • Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB. Practice Setting: • Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)
