- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans based on patient assessments
- Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations conforming to APTA standards and state regulations
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with documentation standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and family caregivers
- Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants as appropriate
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and discharge instructions to promote recovery
Required:
- Valid Illinois Physical Therapist license
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or similar settings
Preferred:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to compassionate patient care
