Internal Medicine - Critical Care Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: July 2026
• End Date: December 2026
• Schedule: Day shift with night call, 7a-7a (MD coverage)
  • Work in the ICU 12 hours then on call 12 hours
• Open Dates: July 1-5, July 13-19, August 3-8, August 17-24, November 2-4

Clinical Details

• EMR System: Epic
• Practice Settings: Inpatient only; Acute Care Hospital; ICU
• Rounding Patients: MD stays and works in the ICU
• Support Staff: RN, MAs, and 2 APCs (1 APC per shift)
  • Supervising APPs
• Beds: 373
• Required Procedures: ICU procedures - Intubation, chest tubes, lines
• Call: May occasionally need to come in

Requirements

• Board: Board Certified
• Certifications: ACLS
• Licenses: KY license
• Experience: Must have ICU experience
