• Experience: Recent OB hospitalist experience, preferably bilingual

What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient OB/GYN care including deliveries and assist with C-sections
• Manage low-risk patients with access to Level III NICU support
• Support OB ED coverage and intra-hospital emergency cases
• Monitor Pitocin administration and respond to urgent obstetric situations
• Assist with gynecological emergencies and urgent procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatologists and perinatologists
• Ensure patient safety and quality care during 24/7 hospital coverage

What You Need

• Valid California medical license and DEA certification
• Recent, relevant OB hospitalist experience (preferred)
• Bilingual skills strongly preferred
• Comfortable managing low-risk pregnancies and assisting with urgent gynecological procedures
• Ability to start as soon as credentialed and available for full shifts in July

This role is based at a reputable hospital in Santa Cruz providing inpatient OB care, including deliveries and cesarean sections, with strong support from ultrasonographers and anesthesia teams. The hospital's partnership with Level III NICUs and local specialists ensures high-quality care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have recent laborist experience, be locally based (Bay Area preferred), and ready for immediate start.
