Cardiology Physician Assistant

Locums - NP/PA - Cardiology - Asheville, North CarolinaWork in one of the most scenic cities in the country while delivering advanced cardiology care in a collaborative hospital environment. This 6-month locums opportunity offers daytime shifts, strong specialty support, and hands-on procedures.Assignment Details:

• Start: July 1, 2026Duration: 6 months
• 12-hour day shifts, 7 days/week (primarily days)12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, - Non-ICU, just floor coverage
• EMR: Cerner

• Round daily on cardiology service patients across all levels of care
• Write progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, consult notes, and discharge summaries
• Order medications, diagnostic testing, and procedures as indicated
• Perform ICU procedures as needed: arterial line placement, central line placement, cardioversion
• Conduct new consults in collaboration with attending cardiologists

• Experienced cardiology PA or NP
• Active North Carolina license and DEA
• Proficient in cardiology patient management and ICU procedures
