Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our existing Comprehensive Pain and Spine team in Nampa, Idaho. Currently, the group consists of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP). We are seeking a medical professional committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care who is willing to support a growing practice in Boise and surrounding communities. Responsibilities include the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain, developing treatment plans that include medication management (opioid and non-opioid), ordering appropriate injection therapies, prescribing conservative therapies (physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, pool therapy) and ordering and interpreting imaging studies and labs. Additionally, the practitioner is responsible for making appropriate referrals to outside specialties such as orthopedics and neurosurgery.


Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted Physician Assistance or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
  • A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
  • Previous advance practice provider experience in pain management preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
