Locums Neurosurgery PA Tampa, FL Why This Role

• Immediate ongoing neurosurgery PA coverage need
• Work with established high-volume neurosurgery team
• Mix of inpatient rounding and call coverage
• Adult and pediatric neurosurgery exposure
Assignment Details
• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Setting: Inpatient
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Schedule Options:
- Monday-Friday with weekend call - Or 7 on / 7 off
• Full-time need:
- 40 hours/week - Minimum 2 weeks/month required
• EMR: Cerner
• Credentialing: Approximately 30-60 days
Requirements
• Active FL license
• Board Certified PA
• ACLS and BLS
• Minimum 2 years Neurosurgery OR First Assist experience
• Must have inpatient neurosurgery experience
Clinical Details
• Inpatient rounding and call coverage
• First Assist role with neurosurgery team
• Call rotation:
- Weekend call 1:4/1:5 - Night call 1:4/1:5
• Working alongside:
- 5 Neurosurgeons - 4 APPs
• Adult and pediatric neurosurgery patients

• Level II Adult Trauma Center
• Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• 600+ bed hospital
• Stroke Certified
