Psychiatry - Child/Adolescent Physician

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania
Job Type: Full-Time Locum
Duration: May 2026 6 Months (Immediate Start)

Full-time stable schedule Monday to Friday, 8 AM 5 PM
No call required evenings and weekends are yours
Work alongside a large, collaborative team (12+ providers)
Established inpatient setting with strong interdisciplinary support
Manage a consistent and structured adult patient caseload
Fast interview & onboarding process

You will:
️ Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adult inpatients
️ Provide daily follow-ups & discharge planning
️ Manage psychopharmacologic treatments
️ Handle crisis intervention & patient stabilization
️ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team
️ Maintain accurate documentation using EMR

• Adult patients (18+)
• patients per day
• Mix of new admissions & ongoing care

Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Comfortable in inpatient psychiatry setting
BLS Certified
Strong teamwork & clinical decision-making skills

• Inpatient behavioral health facility
• Supported by nursing staff & full care team
• Not responsible for supervising mid-levels
