We are seeking a Part-Time Pain Management Physician Assistant (PA) to join our well-established and thriving pain management practice in Marietta, GA. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with our physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. This role includes performing select in-office procedures, supporting medication management, and helping deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.

The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with our physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. This role includes performing select in-office procedures, supporting medication management, and helping deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage new and established patients with chronic and acute pain conditions
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Perform in-office procedures, including:
- Trigger point injections
- Major and minor joint injections
- Other non-fluoroscopic interventional procedures within scope of practice
- Support medication management, including monitoring and documentation of controlled substances in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Review and interpret urine drug screens and Georgia PDMP reports
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation
- Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team to ensure continuity of care
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships within the community
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current Georgia PA license (or eligible)
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Prior experience in pain management, orthopedics, or related field preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Skills & Experience:
- Experience with trigger point and joint injections required
- Familiarity with pain management protocols and medication management
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, including controlled substance prescribing and PDMP review
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with supervising physician
