Surgical Tech job in Jackson MI

Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Jackson, MI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Shift: 3 x 12-Hour Days
Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Call Requirement: Once per week and every 6th weekend

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience
• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Responsibilities:
• Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist during procedures
• Ensure proper handling and accountability of surgical instruments and supplies
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care
• Adhere to all facility safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
