Locums - Longview, Washington, NP/PA Urology Opening

Start Date:ASAP

Assignment Duration:26 weeks

FTE:1.0

Schedule Details:Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

8-hour shifts

Reason for Coverage:Gap in coverage

Practice Setting:Hospital and Clinic

Working at:

  • Medical Center
  • Urology Clinic (approximately 1 mile away)

Both hospital and clinic privileges required.

Patient Population:Ages 17+

Patient Volume:Approximately 18 patients per day

Responsibilities:

  • Annual follow-up and medication refill visits
  • Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
  • Evaluate and manage kidney stones
  • Manage male incontinence
  • Perform cystoscopies
  • Standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room

If a surgical PA:

  • Hospital rounding
  • Surgical assisting

If a non-surgical PA:

  • Clinic responsibilities only

Physician Assistants will work collaboratively with the supervising physician.

Facility Details:122-bed facility

Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

Procedures:Standard urology procedures in both the clinic and operating room

EMR:EPIC

Requirements:

  • Active Washington License in hand at time of presentation - Required
  • IMLC not currently accepted
  • BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
  • ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) - Required
